17 inch wheel Backspace question

For those who have installed 17 in wheels on their C10, what backspace would work best, on a 17 in wheel for my 65 C10 with disc brakes?
Thanks for replies in advance.

Re: 17 inch wheel Backspace question

On the rear of a step-side with the stock rear end housing, a 17X8 with a 4.5" back space is supposed to be the ticket.
Fleet-side may be different, stock width or modified rear end?

Re: 17 inch wheel Backspace question

So have you done a backspace measurement on "your"' truck yet? At ride height - You will want to take measurements using this form: https://static.summitracing.com/glob...-580547500.pdf
