Lq9 - 4l80e trans line?

Ok guys I am trying to figure out what trans lines I need. I am running a OEM radiator with trans cooler built in from a Cadillac but my trans is a 4l80e.

Any recommendations?

Do I get stock Cadillac lines from the radiator and then figure out the fittings on the trans side?

Thanks for the help

Re: Lq9 - 4l80e trans line?

I'm planning on using some rubber transmission fluid line and AN fittings, but I'm getting an Entropy radiator. If you want to use the factory fittings at the trans and the radiator and the OEM hoses are long enough, that would be pretty simple and reliable. If you want to replace the fittings at the trans, here is a link to the fittings that take the place of your OEM 4L80E fittings: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

From there, I would get 90 degree swivel fittings so you can run the lines out of the trans in whatever direction you want and with the 90 degree they will lay down nicer.

I don't know what the threads are on the radiator or if there is a fitting that you can unthread and thread in an aftermarket fitting though. You might have to get creative depending on what you find out on OEM hose length and radiator fittings.

Also, you might get better responses if you post in the LSx Swaps forum here.
