Wiring question

Hi, I'm in the process of installing a Fitech system, and I am dumbfounded as to where the key switched 12 volt source is. I swore that there were 12V IGN blades in the fuse box, but I can't.find them.
Thanks

There should be a terminal labeled "IGN UNFUSED" in the fuse box. Be sure and add an inline fuse if you use that.

Re: Wiring question

Leon,.that's exactly what I thought. I bet I have a faulty ignition switch, because I was getting a power drain on the battery, so I put a disconnect in the neg line, and when i took a meter to the fuse box, every spade was powered up with 12 volts, even with the key off. The 12v ign was live with the key off,.any ideas?

Re: Wiring question

Disconnect the ignition switch and then recheck the fuse panel. If you see voltage on the switched fuses you have a wiring problem. If not then I would pull the switch and check with a ohm meter.
Good luck.
