Cool it was a bit hard to visualize what it was going to be at first.

Re: You might be a hot rodder if:
Yes blower belt cover. The center section was a heavy brushed finish and the cutouts had a lot of chatter in them so I first started with 220 grit on the flats and in the cutouts. The other pieces are machined so I will start with 400 or 600 on those. The cutouts are a real PITA. I've got about 7 hours in it at this point. Sorry about the picture of my brand new Basset hounds I couldn't resist.

Re: You might be a hot rodder if:
gorgeous man! you dont need to worry about needing a custom milled belt cover to be thought of as a hot rodder by the way, the rest of your truck already speaks volumes.

I don't think I have many hours that my Puppy is not right there in my business .
Those are some cute Puppies. Just a suggestion. If you break the corners on all those cutouts with a file set like this one in the link below it will save you a lot of time. https://www.harborfreight.com/needle...-pc-69876.html .

I'm just trying to get it flat right now. I'm working 500 miles from home right now and have limited stuff with me. Just brought a few things with me to work on. Thanks Those files are handy.
