Passenger headlight dim, indicator stays lit
Hi y'all I got a problem with a recent 1979 truck. My turn signals, hazards, all work when headlights are off and when parking lights are switched on. However once headlights are turned on completely the indicator lights up on the passenger side and the headlight, parking light, and turn signal also is extremely dim. Just checked and cleaned the grounds still nothing. It seems I am getting a full 12 volts via multi-meter from the low beam/high beam wire when I connect to say a battery ground however the ground connector on the back of the bulb checked with the low beam/high beam connector reads a low voltage. The bulbs are brand new not even 4 months old has anyone experienced this problem? Can a bulb go bad that quick or is there something I might be missing. Just don't want to throw parts at it seeing if anyone has input.

I would check ground straps and fuses.

Re: Passenger headlight dim, indicator stays lit
Unplug the lamp, two test leads directly from the battery, touch the terminals on the light. Bright, lamp is good. Not bright, bad. My guess is a bad ground or terminal in the connector.
