Need to order a new radiator... Advice please
So I have to order a new radiator for my build and I'm looking for advice. 1969 C10 with a 383 stroker and vintage air a/c. Saw this one online does anyone have this one or recommendations?

I don't have one but i do have advice. My bro-in-law and his buddy both race short circle dirt track. They both swear that 2 rows of 1" tubes is as good as it gets. That's what I will be changing out to in our his n hers smallblock powered S10's as they are notoriously hard to cool. Also many oem electric fan setups move WAY more air than those generic S blade fans.

Re: Need to order a new radiator... Advice please
Champion makes good, low cost radiators. I have run two now, and no complaints. If you want high-quality, American made, I recommend RnD radiators. They will be 2-3x more expensive though, but they can also do some custom stuff like if you want to run AN fittings, or have other tweaks.
Both make shrouds and electric rans that fit their rads too if you're looking for that. I have installed vintage air AC on both champion and RnD setups, and both worked great. |

I run a 4 row Champion with their dual electric fans and shroud kit. Champion say's it cools up to 1000hp, now I don't have anywhere near that many pony's but in these hot Kalifornia summer's I have zero cooling issues. I am running 3 Champions now with excellent results, 2 hotrod's, 1 workhorse and all with A/C.

I just installed this one from summit.
SUM-384018 Notched the core support brackets for more clearance around the tanks. Otherwise it was a direct swap

Running Champion radiators in 2 of my 3 trucks. Both with factory AC running full time in triple digit temps, no problems. I’ll be buying a third should the other truck need a replacement radiator.
