I am hoping I can find something that will work but can always build your idea too! Thanks for sharing.

Re: And so it begins.... 65 shortbed, lay frame, LT engine build
More work on the fuel line this week. I put in the E85 sensor, the fuel pressure sensor, a filter, and will mate up a braided line to the push on connector at the fuel rail.
Newest challenge is after welding up the flanges on the headers and installing them for what I thought was the last time, I found out the O2 sensor won’t fit due to it hitting the transmission cooling block! Damn, there is always something with these things! Also, the O2 sensors I bought from Rock auto won’t plug into my harness. Double damn!!!

Re: And so it begins.... 65 shortbed, lay frame, LT engine build
So my last post was the end of May! A lot has happened since then but the main reason that not much is happening is it is viscously hot here in Houston.
My buddy that had the shop I was working in had decided to go back to a full time job and work part time in his shop. That has set me back a bit as he will need to clear out the high priority customers before any fun time with me can be found. I had to load the chassis and bring it back to the house where I am already bursting at the seams. I’m struggling with the fact that this build was going to be a long one and now it is even longer!

Logistic set backs suck almost as much as our lovely hot weather. I feel your pain on both. At least the 64 is together & can be enjoyed 'as-is' in the interim (the fertilizer from the b*ll sh*t).

I don’t want to take it apart until I absolutely have to because it will be the point of no return after I do that. At least now I have a full truck to used and sell if I ever get to frustrated with the length of time this build is taking.
