SPID has been lost, How to find the original?

My truck's SPID has been lost in the ether over time. Is there any way I can find the options to create a SPID via my VIN#, or any other way?

Re: SPID has been lost, How to find the original?

What model year?

The GM Heritage Center has build information by VIN starting in the 1976/1977 timeframe, for US built or sold vehicles.

http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/?page=3

GM of Canada has build information for all vehicles either built in Canada or built in the US for Canadian consumption.

If neither of those conditions apply, you are out of luck unless you can find an original build sheet in the vehicle somewhere (under the seat, under the dash pad, under the headliner, above the fuel tank).

Once you have the RPO content you want contact site member chipflyer to make a new SPID label to your specification.
