i have a 70 swb fleetside with a smb 350 . what headers are you guys useing to keep the pipes up in the frame mine hang really low .

I run the Dynomax Cerama-coat headers , on BB they don't hang too low .

Ive got an old set of Blackjacks they hang a bit low but I'm not into lowering my truck and my starter likes em also (no shield). Hey Bill72BB How is the ceramic coating holding up? Is the truck in the pic your driver? Thanks Doug

I was using a set of Dynomax like Bill and highly recomend them, after 7yrs they held up well and had no real issues installing plugs. Getting the ceramic coated is also a plus in keeping the heat down in the engine compartment and hold their looks far better than any plain steel headers that rust up usually in no time.

I use Hooker supercomp in my 2wd stepside (auto) and Hooker Compitition in my 72 Blazer 4wd (4 speed). They both are great fits and I highly recommend them. I have used the Flowtech and some other brand that hung way too low and would bottom out on my stepside. After I put the hookers in, there is no chance of draging and I never had a header that fit in so easy. Here is a picture of the headers on my stepside.
