I'd say the key here is if you want it to work with your stock knob and bezel.

I've had the switch, knob and bezel out of some 70 something donor in my 48 for years. Can't remember what it came out of as it was the car I was scraping at the time. I'm thinking 74 Pontiac Ventura though as that is what the engine and rear axle came out of and I was robbing parts in a scramble to put the truck back together in a real short time frame.
