lower control arm problems

My lower control arm rubs on my rims when 3/4 full turn. Can I just grind off the lip on my control arm?

I assume you installed drop spindles. When using drop spindles with 15" rims, I had the same problem, and ground off the lip (minimal amount) of the lower control arm. Seems like the instl. sheet that came with the spindles mentioned something about this.
