Re: Which orange is this 73?

According to what I see through my monitor that is more of a coppery gold color than orange.. I had a Chevy Nova that same color and it was called Camel
although my research says it could be 80 orange metallic 97 medium orange metallic or 61 light orange... If I remember correctly though that was a non metallic paint and would not be the one
Heres some info I found https://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.a...swatch_gm_1973

Re: Which orange is this 73?

I'm inclined to agree - I do not believe the 516 orange was available on 10-30 series in 73.

FWIW...
The base burnt orange code is 515
Conv 2-tone is 541
Special 2-tone is 593
Deluxe 2-tone is 491

The 1973 brochure only shows burnt orange as a standard color option.

Re: Which orange is this 73?

My 76 was very close to that color originally. I used to call it rust color or burnt orange. I think the SPID did call it Grecian Bronze.
