Thanks Longhorn. The snow is even gone now! LOL.

What is the rear end ratio in your 69 GMC?

Crappy 'ole 3.07.
It was a 305 V-6, I think all the V-6 trucks had that gear since they didn't wind out very high.

DAMN!! That's one hell of a truck! Wanna Trade? hahaha!

Thanks for posting, this keeps me on track in regards to painting mine. I'm not looking forward to it, because I'm going to have to do some bodywork...maybe even replace some whole sections of sheetmetal.

Thanks guys.

Repo1, I did not make it out to three hills. I was down in the U.S., doing some job training.

I am changing to a 3.42 rear ratio , within the next two weeks, so I can cruise on the highway. I will be taking in as many show and shines as I can this summer, once I put the faster gears in.

Hows the 3/4 ton texas truck coming. You have a real solid start there.

AMAZING

I love that color.. the more I see it the more I'm leaning towards it.. any more pics? maybe of the interior? I'm curious to see what matches that silver besides black.
