Vertically challenged

Hello, was hoping to get some input from folks that has had this same problem and was successful in some way. Or if you know of a previous thread that would help please send my way.

I’m 57, 6’4” and recently purchased a ‘68 C10. Much to surprise the cab is smaller than I remember.

What I am hoping to find out is what you did to create more leg room or more room in general, even if it was just an illusion. Did you shave down seat foam, replace seat with another...install a tilt column...adjust pedal placement etc?

I apologize if I’m beating a dead horse.

Re: Vertically challenged

You can move the steering column closer to the dash by collapsing the lower shaft a bit. Another thing is chop down the seat brackets or make others that set the seat lower. I'm sure seat adjustment is no needed, just mount as far back as possible.
