WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

Looking for the hardware needed to attached the push rod to the brake booster bracket, with or without the pushrod itself.

Here are pics of what I have now. I need the parts to connect the pushrod to the booster bracket.

I’ve got what you need, I’ll be taking it from a complete setup, so hows $12.50 shipped? Have everything else also if one of your pieces isn’t in good condition.

For $12.50, I really can’t say no to that. Are you including the pushrod or just the connecting hardware? If the pushrod is not included, would you mind measuring it so I can compare and determine if I need to get it also?

Thanks!

Re: WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

That’s just the hardware, just measured and it’s 9.25” center to center. Last time someone asked about the rod I told them $29 shipped.
I’m in a good mood so if you need both $27.
Also I assume since you have a rod already then you have the correct pedal to rod bolt, but if not then $30 for the rod and attaching hardware on both ends. Needless to say whatever option you choose

Those rod bolts like to disappear and turn up once you’ve replaced it!

No kidding, exactly why I tape or zip tie stuff together now.

Thanks! I will go measure as soon as possible. I would assume that if I have the correct pushrod, then I have the correct pedal-to-rod bolt. But I will take a pic and post just to be sure.

Re: WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

My pushrod measures 9.25 inches and it looks like I have the correct pedal to rod bolt. I will take the hardware, please. I plan to try and get it setup in the next couple of weeks, so if I need anything else, I will let you know.

Assuming my booster ends up not being good, is yours for sale?

You take Paypal for the hardware?

Thanks. I appreciate the help.

My paypal is in my signature, just make sure you do goods & services. And to be honest I have no clue the condition of my booster

I just sent you $13 to cover your Paypal fees as well. Thanks for your help with this.

I thought I had included the photo of the pedal to rod bolt in the post. Here it is in case I am mistaken.

Re: WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

Hey Madkidd007, do you know what type of bolts I would use to attach the bracket to the firewall? As you can see in the pic above, two of mine are broken.

Thanks!

I have never seen one back off but just Incase since it has a hole, throw a cotter in there or even a nail just as a backup before you drive it. It’s been a while on the bracket since I’ve looked, I thought they were pressed in studs in the pedal support. If you look at your picture you can barely see what appears to be knurles on the bolt on the inside of the firewall.

Re: WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

Confirmed they are studs and are tack welded in. Kind of a pain under the dash. Probably would be easiest to pull your brake pedal support if your truck is complete and don’t want sparks flying inside

Re: WTB Power Brake Booster Push-rod hardware

The second one I nicked with the grinder and the threads need to be cleaned up. If you want them, send me $5 and I’ll send them too. Worked up more of a sweat than at work all day

I appreciate the effort, but I'll pass. I'll just replace them with a bolt and washer. I was thinking of using a grinding stone on a dremel to take off the weld. Truck is nowhere near complete. Just want to be able to turn it and stop it.
