60-66 Brush Fire Rigs

I know there are a few of these small fire trucks lurking around here. Let's start a thread of 60-66 brush fire rigs. I believe these were almost always red, long wheelbase and 4x4. Any other colors out there? Whatcha got? I'll start with this one.

Re: 60-66 Brush Fire Rigs

My 61 was a search and rescue truck. It was red with a white top (before rattle canned lt green) don't know if it ever had a water tank. probably not as being only a 1/2t. org. paint was Neptune green as it is now.

Mine started as a Forestry Service truck, but not a 4wd fire rig.

Yes, that is the exhaust. It has a small sticker next to the stack, "Loud Pipes Save Lives"
