Woodgrain moulding tape

What's the trick to installing the woodgrain tape on the front fender moulding by the bumper? I bought a new one and the tape wasn't pre-installed. There is a slight curve on this piece and I'm have trouble getting it to lay right without bubbles or wrinkles. I already tried the search and didn't find much help about this specifically. Thanks, Joseph

Re: Woodgrain moulding tape

I had to do this awhile back. We heated up the tape with a heat gun then stretched and heated more as we rolled the corner. Really helps having another set of hands to hold the trim.
