Re: building a mule
when i put the por 15 on it looked fine although there were a few spots with runs. por 15 has no uv protection and not great for scuffs and scrapes so i took some of that spray on perma tex stuff and shot a bit of it on the bottom and i really liked how it looked figured what the heck and did the whole thing. its not real thick anywhere and i keprt it to a minimum where there was bolt padads and such. we will see how it goes

Re: building a mule
has anybody installed one of the early classics fuel tanks in our trucks I bought one gently used from a member and there is no instructions. I messed with it a bit and nothing seems to land any where that makes sense
Any help would be great. |

Re: building a mule
Is it a '69-'72 blazer tank or is it a fabricated aluminum tank? What about it doesn't fit or line up?

Re: building a mule
I've got the front end kind of mocked up waiting for some new springs. I found an outfit that used to have them as a stock item but now they are special order 10 week lead time. which is fine for me because im back at sea until the end of november |

Re: building a mule
Glad to see you make some progress. What is the name of the company that is making springs for you? Thanks for the compliment. Your wife must be talking about my '66 Suburban.

Re: building a mule
That is a lot of money for these springs. I bought mine here -
https://www.generalspringkc.com/Leaf...966_s/1821.htm Good springs and fast shipping. Bushings in front, not in rear. Much less expensive.
