Anyone used the body patch panels?

I received my cab corners today, as well as front fender bottoms, to repair rusted areas.

I am having a body shop install them, but I was test fitting them today. They fit O.K., but don't exactly seem to line up as good as I was hoping. They will have to be tweeked a bit.

Has anyone else used some of the patch panels, and were you able to get them to fit good enough?

I am not sure what brand they are.

I had good luck with all the panels I ever used.

I've done 3 cab corners, 4 rocker panels, 1 driver floor board, 1 floor support, 1 outer floor panel and some bolt on parts such as tailgates and front bed panels.

No complaints here.

You always have to tweek these types of parts to get them right but I have never had any problem with them.

One thing though, I don't think I would mess with fender bottoms. It is far easier to just replace the fender. By the time you by the part and pay someone to install it, you could have had a new fender. Fenders are cheap, body time is not. You sould only use patch panels on non-removable bodyparts

I installed both cab corners, inner and outer rocker and the fender patch under the battery and they all seemed to fit well. I'm not sure on the brand name but they came from Scotts Super Trucks.

The trick is to only use as much of the patch panel that is needed to fix the rust.

Thanks guys. Dubie, the panels I have came from Scotts as well. They are definately bigger than I need Randy, so I will only use as much as needed. Especially the cab corner pieces.
