I like 2 Stovebolts idea..... just buy it as cheap as you can now and that will give you time to decide what you'd like to do with it. I think it's safe to say you can always flip it! But that's coming from a truckaholic...

Well, we are all always learning, and you didn't have all of the information before......

I happened to talk to a friend of the owner yesterday and he told me what the guy paid for it. $1200. Maybe I will up my offer to that so he can get his investment back.

Park it by the barn, work on it when in the mood. Can't believe how bad that beast is!!!
Half ton pickups were the work horses of America. Had a guy in another thread ask why there weren't more 3/4 ton and one tons back in the day. Life was different back then. Thinking was way different. Owning a pickup was a luxury item, to even a farmer back then. My Dad was born at the beginning of the great depression in 1931. People that lived in those days always had in the back of their mind that such a horrible tragedy could occur again. You didn't spend money on anything you didn't need. It's hard for these younger folks to fathom what that was about.

Looks like that pickup got "flat" used up!
