Feel like I'm finally making progress on the 68.

Put the bed on today . Had to make a lift frame to do it. Not easy doing it by yourself . My wife is of great help she worked on the lift frame not easy maneuvering 4x4x12s overhead . But it took longer to make it than drop the bed on.I had to rework the time frame on it as winter is fast approaching and the bed and truck was taking up two spots. I'll just have to take extra steps when I paint the rest of the cab and clip.

Looks good. I have to do mine by myself too, but I use my small skid loader with a 4x4 across the inside of the bed rails. I have a bed and cab to take off in the next week or so if the weather holds.

I used the kubota to take it off. Didnt care about a dent or two then but after the paint had to come up with a different game plan

Looks like you did yours the same way as I did mine. I did have a helper, but it's still tricky. I did take an old piece of paneling, wrapped it with an old blanket and stood it up on the frame behind the rear window, put a rope around it thru the doors as a cushion. I like the color.

Yeah. That truck wouldn't look right without mud & snows on the back. It's a pretty color as well as being a classic old common work truck color that doesn't show dirt. It has a handsome look without trying. A load of firewood would look good with that color!

I had a foam insulation board wrapped in a moving blanket. But with the winch and the wireless remote I was able to drop it on with little fuss. Was actually very easy.

Looking great! Did the spare mount work for you?

I haven't gotten round to it as of yet. But there should be no problem. Just need to get the proper mounting location for it .

Re: Feel like I'm finally making progress on the 68.

Keeping the mud n snow tire look . But most likely with 16 inch rims as opposed to the 17s on it now.
