GMC Takeoff Tailgate

This is a 1972 GMC Hawaiian Blue tailgate. It was taken off the truck very early as you can see by the pictures. If you follow the link there are a lot more pictures available. The price is $1200 plus $150 to build a wooden crate with foam and moving blankets. You will arrange shipping through Fastenal and I will drop it off at my location. I am also able to deliver this tailgate to the Tacoma - Olympia area this weekend.

Re: GMC Takeoff Tailgate

I'm not sure if the gate or the crate look nicer than each other.

Sorry I do not. The customer arranged all his shipping through his local Fastenal store and all I had to do was drop it off at my local Fastenal store. This is a great and affordable way to ship large parts if youre willing to build a crate or a pallet.

I shipped one in plywood crate last year with ups. Was about $110 from Colorado to Midwest.

It's great people like you take the time to crate them. I to have had people crate stuff for me and appreciate the time and materials it takes to do it.
