thoughts and opinions

I am chomping at the bit to hit the order button on a Dakota Digital Gage board. I am down to either the HDX or the RTX series.
RTX looks a little more original to me.

what are your thought and any experience or concerns with DD.

and yes I know there are the Purist OEM guys that will say "NO WAY" out there and your info is welcome too.

Re: thoughts and opinions

I definitely prefer the RTX. Not to muddy your waters but have you looked at new vintage USA? They have some good looking ones. Especially retro ones.

My choice would be Classic Instruments. Check them out if you haven't already.

I think I may have found my gauges! I personally don’t like the big, bright, look at me LCD screens in the middle of the speedo and tach that the Dakota Digital and Classic Instruments have. Maybe in person is different than photos. The New Vintage has a small, low key LCD odometer that’s perfect in my opinion. Not sure if I’d want the retro style or race (autometer esque) face though.

Re: thoughts and opinions

Looking forward to hearing a review from you on these. I have decided on the RTX gauges as my next purchase. I like the look coupled with the more modern features.

I like my 'Speed Hut gauges' GPS speedometer and no calibrating it just drive it. Life time warranty also.
Yes all the new gauges are expensive.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
