Locations For Temp Sending Unit?
Is there only one spot on each head? What about mounting it on the thermostat housing or on the top of the water pump?
Thanks Eric |

Yes, 1 in each head, and you would want it in the heads or in the intake manifold next to the water neck. If you install it in the water pump your temp would be cooler that it really is since the coolent has just come from the radiator. If you install the sending unit above the thermostat in the water neck it would read cold until it was too late because of a stuck thermostat.

This is a performer intake here...the hole in the upper right hand corner as we are viewing it. By the waterneck.
