Front bumper mounting question
Can someone that has a 64-66 measure from top to bottom bolt holes? Or does someone know if the mounting pattern changed through the years? I had a decent chrome bumper laying around that I’m trying to mount to my 66 k20 but the bolt holes appear to be too close together top and bottom. I’ve got a frame mounted front winch and I figured who ever added the frame extension just cut the front horns off and welded them back on but now I’m not sure. The bumper I took off looked to be a factory steel and the holes are clearly farther apart and don’t seem to have been modified

Re: Front bumper mounting question
60-62 bumper hole spacing is not the same as 63-66. Check the following thread for details. Starting at post #16, the differences are explained. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=536716
You can easily see the difference. |

Re: Front bumper mounting question
Yeah, and the 60-62's are shaped differently also.
There's a thread here in these forums where someone penciled an overlay of each.
