84 cab mount kit

I'm getting ready to bite the bullet and order a body mount kit. I need the hardware and all, with rubber, and including bed bolts. I searched the best I could and came up with a few threads about which is best. Anyone had any experiences with a kit lately? What works the best? I notice there is a definite difference in price from vender to vendor. Some I would have to piece together. I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest. I don't want a junk kit to save a few bucks. Thanks for any thoughts.

I put an Energy Suspension kit in my 85 2 weeks ago. Good quality and instructions. No complaints.

The only place I have found that sells rubber kit is LMC. Everyone else seems to have the poly ones.

I’ve heard not so great things about using poly... what’s your experience? Does the ride feel the same?

Re: 84 cab mount kit

I did not use Poly myself, I bought the LMC Rubber kit as its the only place I could find that had rubber. Its been on for 3 years now without any issue. The mounts themselves are not easy to install - the "doughnut" fit really tightly and its difficult to get to slide onto the upper mount. Eventually I got it. Ride seems like stock.

. Did they seem to be the right thickness-didn’t require much shimming? I know they have some from the factory but not a lot.
