Yes but it will sit up on the chassis like a 4x4 due to frame kick up after cab

So with that being said , does that mean that the cab and bed will sit up high or just the cab ?

The entire body will be raised up about 3" unless you raise the rear floor of the cab up to accommodate the different frame. I have done this about 28 years ago for someone else. I will never do it again. It is a lot of work for no real gain over just keeping your original frame and upgrading the suspension, steering and brakes using '73-'87 components. Here is a thread about it.

Re: Will a 66’ cab fit a 76’ chassis ?

What Captn said is the gospel!

Yes a 74 1 ton front suspension will fit your 66 1 ton, front suspension cradle has 14 bolts, 10 are there 2 need to be elongated and 2 will need to be drilled.
The rear end, think about a 14 bolt, you will get better gear ration and maybe disc brakes!!

Re: Will a 66’ cab fit a 76’ chassis ?

Yes a '73-'87 C10 front suspension will bolt up under a '66 C30 frame. On the rear, I would remove the C30 leaf springs and spring hangers and install the entire rear suspension from the donor truck including the leaf springs and spring hangers. Unless you can source a complete '63-'72 C10 trailing arm suspension. Let me know if you need a steering box adapter plate and or a booster bracket.
