Greetings from Chile

Hello guys,

Ive been reading the forum since 2015 when we got our first C10 a 1969 made in Argentina with a 250 inline 6 and a 3 speed manual. It has been a helpful instance for many works.

Right now me and my brother are currently working on installing a 350 engine and a TH700 transmission on that truck.

Also recently we purchased a 1971 GMC C1500 Truck, these trucks are extremely rare here because they were imported. It's a 250 6l and 3 speed manual, plan is to restore to its original condition.

In the pictures the white one before being disassembled for suspension overhaul and engine swap and behind the donor truck. Also our new GMC truck.

Re: Greetings from Chile

Welcome … Good luck with your builds. Cant imagine even starting projects like this in another country with the difficulty coming up with parts, and the expense of shipping parts when you do find them.

Re: Greetings from Chile

I’d love to know if there are any differences in these trucks. The Mexico trucks had different bed body lines and different gauge clusters. Never heard of them being made in Argentina! Got any more pictures of badges and interior/interior? Also the SPID would be awesome to see.
