Factory tach info
Does anyone have any pictures on the correct placement of the transmitter for the factory tach for pre 63 trucks? Was thinking that there would be some pre punched holes on the inner fender.

Re: Factory tach info
Several years ago, I removed a factory tach from a junked out '62 C80 farm truck. That one had the transmitter box mounted on the firewall, inside the cab, over near the passenger side kick panel. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics.
That appeared to be the factory installed location in that particular truck (didn't look like anyone had re-located it). But I don't know if that was the standard spot for mounting the transmitter box in all 60-62 trucks though. |
