Re: Project Eat Soot
Little more progress, I scored a 2002 Escalade for $850! Engine was missing ended up being two bad spark plugs! Runs like a top now I pulled the engine a trans and did a bunch of cleaning! It has revealed a nice LQ9 6.0 LS and 4L60E trans. Hope to have this all sitting in the frame next week. I also sent body out to a shop to get massaged over. I hope to get it back sometime over winter.

Re: Project Eat Soot
Very nice score! I'm slowly working on a similar swap. Engine looks nice all cleaned up! Will be watching along.

Re: Project Eat Soot
Wow...definitely a small world.
My friend owns your old blue one with the cummings diesel. It is in good hands, and he's done some very cool things to it. Although, it was pretty damn nice to begin with! Will keep watch on your new build. I'm currently building the '72 Jimmy. Pat |
