My door!

My door won't latch! The catch on the latch just spins and the button on the door handle just stays psuhed in. What am I going to have to look at in there? Geez, I'm keeping it closed with a bungee cord!

Apprecaite an assit!

It sounds like a spring problem to me. You will probably have to open the door up and have a look. I would guess that the latch is not catching because of the button being stuck. Once you solve that problem the other will go away too.

Thanks guys! The spring on my door handle was broken and the sping on the latch had popped off the inside striker plate. Gonna need a new handle.
