Gray Rally Wheels, Not Original Argent/Silver

I've had my truck 5 years and well although I love my P01's but its time for a change. I've been back and forth in my head about installing rallys or the 17 inch Torque Thrust 11's I bought.. I saw a square body the other day with rallys and they were painted a darker grey than original. If any has rallys on their truck in a shade of grade other than original please post a pic or two of your truck..

Re: Gray Rally Wheels, Not Original Argent/Silver

When I can get back on my feet I will post my GR-2 powder coated wheels. I like the color on the rims and use this color on two of my trucks right now.

Re: Gray Rally Wheels, Not Original Argent/Silver

I like the wheels a little darker, like that Pewter and Not Solo's Charcoal. I've done gunmetal on rallyes and it looked really sharp. But that was a bit darker than the pewter and obviously not stock color. I like the look of darker but not so obvious, like it might be stock color. That's how these colors look

Re: Gray Rally Wheels, Not Original Argent/Silver

Here's mine in Dark grey metallic. The plan is to order the clips so I can run baby moons with the original beauty rings. Just haven't done it yet. Sorry the light on these pics isn't great.

I am really leaning towards refurbishing my rallies for my build, and I love the baby moon idea!

Can you advise as to where to get the clips and moons...please post a pic once you get them mounted! Why didn't I know this was a "thing"? Very cool! Your panel will POP with that set up.

That’s my truck. Single stage pewter color. I can dig up the paint code if you wanted it.

Thanks for responding. I would appreciate the paint code as this the color I want for my truck. I'm tired of looking at the P01's on it. Pic is my truck.

Yeah. I always forget to do that. I had this color wheels on a ‘92 gmc I painted years ago. Way nicer than the argent in my opinion.
Thanks.
Mark.

Re: Gray Rally Wheels, Not Original Argent/Silver

Thanks for this thread. Probably be a few months but I’m going to have five of the six rally’s I have powder coated and was whining about a charcoal gray or darker silver. I think you guys have helped me decide that is the route I’ll go.

I don't have a link anymore but they were for sale on the bay. IIRC about $60-80 for a set of 12 (just the clips), enough to do 4 wheels.I would have sourced the Moons from somewhere that had good quality chrome.
