Here is a good picture of the clutch linkage spring..... I think this is on a 6 cylinder but it should be the same. LockDoc

That is super helpful. Also, I don't have a nut between the rod and the nut to the fork. Maybe that is part of the issue as well. Thank you!

No problem. You may have overlooked it but Richard said he had a spring in post #17. Even though it looks like it, there is no nut between the wedge and the clutch rod. That is just part of the wedge. LockDoc
