Smile Front fender Rear Weather seal placement

I have the weather seals for the rear of the Front fenders, but I'm not sure where they are attached. Are they attached to the Cab side or the Fender side? And where should it be attached.
I'm assuming that it needs to be attached with trim adhesive.

take a look through here. sheet 4.00. the seals on mine were attached to the inner fender with staples of some sort as indicated in the instruction sheet. the assembly manual should show you where if you can just figure out the diagram. there is also a front fender to cowl seal along the rear edge of the fender. sheet 5.02. it goes on with adhesive by the looks of it.
hope that helps

Re: Front fender Rear Weather seal placement

I used 3M double sided thin foam tape to attach the welting to rear of the front fender. The welting goes between the rear of the front fender and the cowl. Not saying that is how Chev did it in 1953, just saying that's how I did it today (literally).
