Van bumper/brackets
Does anyone know if the rear bumper and/or brackets from a late 70's/early80's full size van will bolt onto a 73-87 pickup? I'm tring to change out my step bumper and new brackets cost more than the bumper itself.
Any other ideas? Thanks, Gary |

Nope, they're not the same. All the braces and brackets are entirely different.
Take a trip to the local junkyard. Should be pretty easy to find brackets for step bumpers.

The bolt pattern is also different on the van bumpers.

I'm actually trying to get rid of the step bumper and install a smooth factory-style one. Thanks for the replies and info guys. Guess I'll just have to keep looking.
