Re: My 1st build 70 CST Project (insert cool name here)
Oh it's not a lack of inspiration, it's a lack of knowledge. I was hoping to have it running and driving for my wedding next month but it's not gonna happen. I ls swapped it and it's just been set back after setback. I did the s10 speedo swap, my gauges don't work. Can't seem to wrap up all the wiring and electrical. It starts but doesn't really want to run. Nothing has been easy with this build. 1 step forward 10 steps back the whole way.

Oh. I read about your speedo. I am also following that thread. I am good at wiring but have never done that. I really want to do the swap and am about ready. I have a standard tranny going in mine. I am going to redo the harness myself for better knowledge of whats going on. Keep at it. It will all work out. I am leaning toward using my Trans Am speedo. Any way. Now I am following this thread!

Re: My 1st build 70 CST Project (insert cool name here)
Thanks for checking in! I know it's been awhile. Sadly I haven't touched the truck in about 4-5 months. I pushed hard to have it ready for my wedding back in September and almost made it. I took it out for for a spin for the 1st time in probably 11 or so years. As I was pulling out of the driveway the check engine light started flashing. I plugged the scanner in to see what was going on, no codes. I had a local LS guy finalize all my wiring and he had said #8 injector wasn't firing. So I'm thinking it's linked to that. I did have a fuel injection cleaning when I had the exhaust work done but it must not have helped. So that's pretty much where I'm at. I'll see if I have any pictures on my phone I can post with this.
