Do I need this?
I was just wondering if I need to keep this piece on my truck, if I'm not hauling anything heavy? I was told it was to keep the rear end of the truck from bouncing up and down when fully loaded? If I don't, I want to remove it, so I have straight shot out for my exhaust.
Thanks |

Re: Do I need this?
It was a load sensing device for brake proportioning from what I had on mine. If the rear of the frame was squatted from a heavy load, the lever would adjust the brake fluid proportioning to help w/braking.
On my dually, I simply by-passed the unit & removed it since my set-up is custom & the bags keep it @ the same heights even when loaded.
