Need longer speedo cable

My speedometer cable is stretched to the max and it wont reach to my new speedometer in my 72 K5. What are my options?

Mine was the same when I got it so I just took it to the local cable maker and said I want one 6" longer.

This is an easy job for a pro cable maker.

Just look in your local phone directory.

The vendors will have longer cables. The K5 should take one that is 83" long.

GMC Paul has them for $14.95. Here is the link for his site:
