LS3 oil pan suggestion?
Just bought a LS3 and looking for the correct oil pan that will fit my ‘65 GMC. The current connect and cruise that I just purchased doesn’t clear the cross member - so need to swap out the oil pan. Does anyone have any idea which oil pan will fit?
I read that a Holley 302-1 or a Holley 302-2 may fit... does anyone have any experience with either? Which one may fit? Thanks, Angie |

Re: LS3 oil pan suggestion?
The factory truck, cts-v pans work great. Sometimes the f-body pan will work depending on where your engine sits. What ever pan you go with, you will need the corresponding windage tray, pick-up tube, dip stick and tube. If you use the search bar, there is a thread in the Lsx sub forum with a list of parts combinations guys are running on their ls swaps.
