Got the P21DD error code yesterday - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

2015 2500HD Duramax --- 32000 miles

Emissions, probably something to do with DEF stuff. I have a 5 year extended warranty but being emiisions I hope I have no cost -- my $250 deductible.

Goes to dealer tomorrow.

Anyone else face a P21DD?

From quick Interweb search it appears to be an issue out there quite a bit. From sound of it, you probably will be covered. Good luck with it.

My factory 5 yr 100K mile engine warranty covered the repair. They replaced the DEF tank and components.

Had the same issue and I took my truck to the dealer for warranty coverage.
