It can be a daunting task but it's divided into bundles for the different sub systems. I also used a lot of tape to mark things I changed etc., so I don't have to figure it out later. My wiring is 75% done but I'm waiting on the box and hood to come back from the painter. He did the cab and front clip for me first so I could bring it home and work on it. They do mostly insurance jobs but keep one side project in the shop for when someone needs something to do.

I read a book on automotive DC from the basics to complete systems (didnt take long). I have to tell you it was the best thing I ever did. I actually built a harness from scratch. This one is much easier and the price is right.
Well it’s a done deal! I guess I will let you all know what I think of this wiring Harness.

I'll have to start one sometime. Earlier pics I took are gone though on a lost phone.

Re: Where to buy best wiring harness for 63 c10

Just went through this, 5.3 swap with th400 and classic update kit. I don’t think there is a package chassis and ecm harness deal. The engine harness blends into the chassis harness easily, it’s usually a two or three wire interface to power the ecm, fuel pump, etc. if I had to do it again I think a cheaper/simpler harness would work just as well unless you plan on power seats, Windows, ac, etc
