On your original post, 5th pic down, it's a pic of the choke rod and bimetal spring... how does that rod stay in the linkage on the carb? Mine keeps falling out and I dont see how its held in

Mine has a small hole in the rod with a small R clip in the hole.

I'll have to look at mine closer, I dont remember seeing a hole or a grove for a c clip
