Good place to get lowered coil springs?

What is a good brand of lowering coil springs to buy? I want to get a 4/6 drop on my 1968 Chevy C10 SB fleetside bigblock truck.

I already have the 2.5 drop spindles for the front.

ECE, they are going out of business so 20% off now but their shipping is stupid expensive so probably won't save much. Do not buy CPP springs...I swapped mine out for ECE and they are much better.

Re: Good place to get lowered coil springs?

I have a set of McGaughy’s 4” lowering springs on the rear of my truck. Chose them because they are progressive rate. Not sure how they ride yet because truck is still far from road ready.

Re: Good place to get lowered coil springs?

I ordered a full setup from Performance Online. I don't know how well they work, as all the components are still sitting in a box. Super helpful guys though and I got a good deal on their stuff during their holiday sale.

By the way... ECE is out of almost all of their suspension stuff. I just talked to them earlier this week.

I got McGaughys springs for my '69 from Summit Racing. They have them in stock, plus low price and free shipping.

Re: Good place to get lowered coil springs?

I ordered some ECE springs a few months back and they were drops shipped from the manufacturer.
I didn’t pay it much mind at the time as I preferred to use ECE. But now that they are closing ive been trying to find out who they got them from.

Does anyone have any idea, or know how to find out.

I would like to find out also since ECE is no longer in business it would be great to find out the supplier to get a quality spring from them.

ECE does not list 1.5 or 6 inch lowering springs on their website any longer.

Might want to try Hotchkis or possibly Ridetech.

Re: Good place to get lowered coil springs?

I just purchased some 1.5 front and 6 inch rear lowering springs by Western Chassis through Summit Racing. I already have the 2.5 drop spindles from ECE so I am hoping it gets me the 4/6 drop that I am looking for.

ECE before they are gone. I have 2" small block springs in the front of my short step and am planning a big block swap. I ordered a set of the 2" ECE big block springs last week knowing they will not be available in the future.
