You should be happy with these caps. I was just looking at them when boxing them up and they are perfect NOS caps. No dents, No scratches, No shelf wear. As good as NOS production line parts get.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I am going to be starting the hunt for yet another set of the 62-63 GMC version of these same caps, but worse - the 1/2 ton clip type with the wide steel backing ring (ugh)....so annoying trying to dig up the GMC version of these

Probably convinced at the time I didn't need any LOL. I switched gears from a 61 K1000 I have caps for, to a 62 K1000 I am about to purchase, and I am upside down on those caps.
