Here’s my k1500 dark olive poly before and after polish of the original paint.

Can’t do this with b/c paint jobs...

My dad had a 71 C10 that was dark Olive. His paint held up well, but he never parked it outside. Oh, BTW his is another SS paint job. Even if it does fly in the face of what I said about metallic not holding up well.

I have been tossing around painting my truck that vermilion poly. Would that be a metallic? I have painted just one truck but never metallic. Your trucks all look awesome. I would be super happy if mine come out half that nice.

All the Poly colors are metallic. It was GM's name for metallic paint.
