Speedway drop spindles, must 2
Installed speedway 2” drop spindles, and gm disc conversion, im not sure it is even an issue, but it seems that where the caliper slide bolt hits the rear strut bar it kinda limits how far i can turn, if measure at the steering linkage in front of spindle, it moves about 3”, I checked the power rack and it travels about 4”, but im not sure how far is normal for a spindle

What lower A-Arms is that? Is that a Mustang II suspension you installed?

Re: Speedway drop spindles, must 2
Most of the mustang 2 stuff we used to use in drag cars was front steer. It looks like you are set up for rear steer. That may be the problem.

Nope, front steer, but looks like i have plenty of turning radius, so shouldnt be an issue

Re: Speedway drop spindles, must 2
Hey Skip, I've been trying to find pics of my 32 Chevy with MII, dropped spindles and the stock lower control arm with strud rod back to frame. I know I never had problems with anything hitting, but I had Heidt's dropped spindles. If you still have my number give me a call...Jim

Just wanted to throw this out there in cause someone needed to know. First pic is from some instruction on how to install in a 41-48 Ford. second pic is of my 32 Chevy, first put the MII in it around 1986, and this pic is around 1992 when I redid the whole car...Jim
