Sleeping hot rods

Ya know, for a minute there today I swore I heard my hot rod whimpering from under it’s blanket. Did anybody else hear the same thing?

Re: Sleeping hot rods

Worked my truck hard, yesterday. Went up and got a 2" X 4" X 8' con heart redwood stick for a gate post (bolts to the wall). Before we got the new shell, it didn't get used much, and should have whined. The old shell leaked and we had to keep a tarp over it. It rains enough in California that this was an issue.

Re: Sleeping hot rods

My project truck has been under covers for over 20 years in different states of progress...I'm immune to the whimpering, BUT lately it has been making sounds of excitement due to the fact that it should be hitting the road soon (meaning this year or early next).

As far as my other hotrod that is already road worthy...I heard her crying a little this morning...spring is coming!
