67-68 OEM Steering Wheel - NICE, NO CRACKS

SOLD

Just bought this from a forum member, and like an idiot I assumed it would match my 68 fawn interior color. But it's quite a bit darker gray (which I've since learned came in 67 GMC's only) and I don't want to paint this one.

<< NO CRACKS! >>

GM Part No. 9746529. There is some discoloration and a minor blem (see pictures) that you can barely feel. Looking for $265 plus shipping so I can get money back. I've seen these go for quite a bit more, and this is a nice piece. 1-year only GMC part if that's important to you. Button is NOT included.

That’s super nice! If it was black or aqua green I would be all over it. GLWS

Correct, I looked it over really thoroughly in the sun to be sure and I can't find even any hairline cracks.

Best I can find is a bit over $47 bucks for UPS ground to either zip. Tell you what, if you can do $295 shipped I'll cover the difference.

Hey sorry been busy all day today. I’ll take the wheel. First chance I’m able to reply.

Re: 67-68 OEM Steering Wheel - NICE, NO CRACKS

I apologize I have to do this, but I have to sell to Njeiv. Since he was first to say I'll take it, and waited a day. I am sorry for any inconvenience, I feel like it's a no-win situation, but given the circumstances I feel this is the fairest situation possible.

Honestly whatever. I feel that I made it pretty clear that I wanted it just wanted to figure out the shipping details. I'm not sure why I didn't receive any emails saying that you responded to the thread to give me a heads up, life gets busy but I guess that's what I get it for not staying glued to a forum. Another lesson of who to do business with is all. Cheers!

First of all I understand you feel upset. This was not intentional. If you don't want to do "business" with me I can't help that, but I try really hard to be fair and considerate when I occasionally sell parts on here. I guess I should have been more clear when I listed the ad, it's just hard to remember to account for every possible situation when creating a for sale thread. I'd like you to also consider this from my perspective, I've been screwed in the past by interested buyers backing out, and then the second guy in line passes because it took too long for the first guy to respond and they found another part.

Side note: The forum has been having issues with emails not being sent for subscriptions or PM's, and it looks like that made this situation worse.

I understand your side of things completely as you need to get your money back and we all know cash is king. However if the tables were turned I think I'd of given you more of a chance seeing no one even blinked at the wheel for over a week. But like I said life gets busy and sometimes things pass you by, shame on me for not paying closer attention. As long as your good with your decisions that is all the matters in the end. Everything in life is a lesson, no hard feelings.

I've tried to be respectful and went out of my way to apologize for what really was YOUR mistake for not saying "I'll take it" per forum rules. But now that you've made a subtle jabs at my character TWICE you won't be doing business with me ever again. Not that you care. CHEERS!!

1. No where in the forum rules is “I’ll take it a rule”. As I’ve been made fully aware of that myself in the past.

2. I just said “shame on me....everything is a lesson....no hard feelings....etc” so not sure how you take those as a “subtle jabs” to your character. If YOU’RE good with it that’s all that matters. I honestly can care less about the wheel bud I’ll find another.

I’ll sell you one that has 100% of its OG turquoise paint on it(was leather wrapped) and crack free for $150 if you need it.
