Parts mystery / mystery parts

Was going through some old flash drive files and found an ebay listing I had saved ten years ago, I suppose to investigate but evidently never did. This is an excerpt copied and pasted:

"CHEVY MOTOR MOUNT TORQUE ROD NP205 NP 205 4X4 TURBO 400 .......YOU ARE BIDDING ON A PAIR OF GM MOTOR MOUNT TORQUE RODS. THESE PLATES GO UNDER THE MOTOR MOUNTS ON THE ENGINE BLOCK AND THE RODS BOLT TO THE CAST ALUMINUM COVER ON THE TRANSMISSION.THE CAST COVER IS ALSO INCLUDED.THESE SHOULD WORK ON TURBO 400 AND 350 HD TRANSMISSIONS WITH THE BOLT ON COVER.THESE WERE USED ON MOST 4X4 AND NP 203 AND 205 SET UPS. THESE GREATLY INCREASE THE STRENGTH BETWEEN THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION."

Unfortunately no pics saved.
Then a dormant brain cell fired which caused me to go out to the barn and dig around until I found these. Picked them up off of craigslist (again, years ago) included with a set of pulleys and brackets I wanted. Anyone know if these are the same as described in the ebay listing? Thanks

Yeah. They didn't come on these trucks. GM started using them when the transfer cases went to aluminum cases... and most trucks were automatic, so all aluminum case behind the engine

Re: Parts mystery / mystery parts

Thanks for that info guys. I think I'll scoot over to the next gen forum and ask if anyone might have a picture of what they look like installed.
