Ram Horn manifold too deep for studs

I bought some Flowtech Ram Horns to put on the 383 I'm working on. Went to test fit the manifolds and spark plug wires today before engine goes into truck and turns out the studs sent to me are way too short.

Manifold is 2 3/8" thick, 3/4" deep into head, gaskets, washer, nut and a little exposed thread gets to about 4". Studs are only 2 1/4" long.

Holley (flowtech) were a bit perplexed, said they must have changed the casting which seems strange, the bolts are about 2" too short!

I thought I would be able to find 4" manifold studs on the internet but at the moment I cannot. If anyone knows where I could get some I'd appreciate it.

Otherwise, Can anyone recommend some shorty or block hugger headers for a small block in a '69 K10.

I put the Summit brand rams horns on my 71 and am happy with them. No issues mounting them up.

On the Engine Masters show they got great results from the Hooker cast exhaust manifolds, but they are rear dump.

Go buy some B16 all-thread & make your own. The last time I bought a 2 ft piece, it cost me like $3.00.

That isn't a bad idea at all, is "B16" a specific type of steel designation?

I currently have them installed with some G5 bolts, but my plan is to get the motor broken-in and run it for a couple of weeks, then pull the manifolds and main collector and get them coated.

Can go with studs then, thanks for the info

Allthread is probably grade 2. Why not go to the local NAPA and look at studs, or use their website? Boggled.

I would think it would be hard to get manifolds on with studs. Isn't that why the factory used bolts? Anyway I always assumed exhaust studs were readily available in many sizes.

Thanks for the link. Exactly what I was asking for in my OP.
I don't regularly use napa because there isn't one near me, so I didn't think of them. I did find some dorman studs and have them on order. I'll need some shorter studs though for the ends of the manifold, the 4" will be too long. I'll use napa for them.

This drivetrain swap, steering column replace, dash replace and complete throttle linkage replacement is all new for me so some of the obvious things to others are a bit foreign to me. Again, thanks for you help.

What has me "boggled" is why Flowtech hasn't gotten back to me other than thanking me for my patience. They supplied studs that cannot work with their product, you would think they would want to know and remedy the situation.
